The programs and services we provide here at YFC wouldn’t exist without the donations from people like you who care about the youth in our community. Please review the list below and consider donating the items identified. Your donations are a tax-write off and help us to continue serving the youth and their families in the Rochester Community.

Volunteers Needed

  • Looking for adults to serve as mentors for one year. Mentors need to be at least 21 years old, have a NYS driver license, and a reliable vehicle. Please contact our office for more information.
  • Boutique Manager to organize donations a few hours bi-weekly for our Teen Boutique and Children’s Place.
  • Volunteer to update YFC contact and donor database.
  • Spruce up the building in various ways (one-time volunteer day for groups or individuals).
  • Snack Bar workers for sporting and special events.
  • Clerical: filing, answer phone, calling donors.
  • Coaches for the basketball season.
  • Rising Stars After School Program: help the children with homework, reading, etc.
  • Fundraising event organization.
  • Grant writing.
  • Building renovations.
