God’s Girls

The 6-month God’s Girls program provides girls from 6th to 8th grade a space where they can come together and learn how much Jesus loves them. We meet twice a month on Saturday afternoon.

Exposing middle school girls to the wealth of knowledge in the Bible and spending time and being coached by women who are seasoned in the Christian faith will produce young women who will make positive contributions to our community.

To God be the glory for the increase that we have seen under the guidance of Program Director Lakeysha Evans. God’s Girls now has three different components:

• GG-1 is our foundational program which meets every other Saturday at YFC, teaching Biblical principles and helping to establish the girls in their identity in Christ. 
• GG-2 was launched in January with a focus on teaching Entrepreneurial and Financial Management skills. The girls in this pilot program learn skills like graphic arts and hair braiding that they can use to earn money for themselves and for the program.  
• GG-3 is a version of the program that meets every week during the school day at two local middle schools.

Our Kids Stand Out

Our mentors help them be the best they can be, to excel in everything they do in life.

We’re about sharing biblical wisdom and helping kids to live out the word of God in practical ways in their everyday life.

By establishing a Christ Culture in everything we do, we create a space where kids feel comfortable enough to let their God-given talents shine.

It’s so gratifying to watch them grow into young women with a purpose and destiny in Christ!
